- Description
- Vendor to provide all technical work necessary to collect tissue for study and place in the appropriate media. Vendor will provide the mechanism for appropriate transport of the specimen so that it is received in the cancer cytogenetics laboratory located at the VA Medical Center, 800 Bailie Drive, Augusta, Georgia, within 24 hours. Contract period will be October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004, with three (3) one-year options to extend. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). A technical proposal is required. Technical evaluation criteria consists of TECHNICAL EXCELLANCE - (i) providing evidence that vendor will provide appropriate transport of specimen; (ii) providing evidence that vendor will provide report within 7 working days; PAST PERFORMANCE - provide references from all Federal, State, and local government contracts and private contracts of similar scope, size and complexity that are on-going or have been completed with the past 3 years; and PRICE. The NAICS Code is 621511 and the size standard is $11.5 million. The anticipated issue date is August 6, 2003.
