- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with SPEX Forensics, JY Incorporated, Edison, NJ, under authority 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 for the purchase of five (5) Mini Crime Scope 400W Forensic Light Source with 1500 hour lifetime bulbs, five (5) Optional Kit of Accessories, five (5) Spare Bulbs for the MCS-400 Forensic Light Source, and on-site training. This is not a request for proposals. SPEX Forensics, JY Incorporated is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required equipment. All communication of a technical nature must be received in writing within seven (7) calendar days of this notice. All interested parties may submit a quote, which will be evaluated. All responses to this notice must be received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, 3:00 p.m., eastern time to Yokita Exum, Contract Specialist at telephone number 202-307-7832 or facsimile number 202-307-7542.
