- Description
- It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure the continuation of services on a sole source basis from Project of Intermediate Advocates, Inc. (PIA), Washington, DC. The purpose of this procurement is to continue collaborations with PIA to offer access to healthcare information with a focus on HIV/AIDS info to disadvantaged individuals and communities. PIA is a non-profit organization based in Southeast Washington DC, a historically low-income African-American community. PIA has worked as a healthcare advocate for over five years in this community to change the disparity in healthcare currently present. PIA can offer the Division of Specialized Information Services (SIS) an opportunity to further accomplish its outreach mission at a level not currently possible through current SIS staff and/or contractors The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 13 - Acquisition of Non-Commercial Items. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsive sources may submit a proposal in a timely manner in which will be considered by NLM. Firms interested in responding to the notice must be able to provide the referenced services as specified above. Responses must be in writing and must be received in the office within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this notice. Proposal must include pricing information.
