- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to installing Government-furnished microwave tower and take-off structure in the substation yard and constructing approach spans including footings (excavation, concrete backfill) for Government-furnished transmission line steel poles, installing Government-furnished steel poles and associated hardware and conductor and overhead ground wire. The work is located in Audubon County, Iowa. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. All work is to be completed by December 15, 2003. All responsible business concerns may submit a id which shall be considered by this Agency. The estimated construction magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about August 8, 2003 and the projected bid opening date is on or about September 8, 2003. Interested bidders must email, fax, or mail the Contract Specialist to request the specifications and applicable drawings. DO NOT post any questions or responses to this IFB on IIPS. Any questions or responses posted on the IIPS that concern this IFB will NOT be considered during the evaluation and award process.
