- Description
- Project is for improvements to the Sandy Beach Camploop at the Cedar Lake Recreation Area near Heavener, Oklahoma, on the Choctaw District, Ouachita National Forest in LeFlore County. Improvements include construction of approximately 1/3 mile of paved double lane road, construction of 22 camping spurs including the complete development of each campsite, construction of a complete electrical and water distribution system, developing a beach area with picnic tables, sidewalks, wheelchair ramp into the water and picnic shelter, and construction of a fishing pier and two information boards. A pre-bid showing will be conducted on August 21, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. Interested bidders should meet at the project site. Cost to the Government is not expected to be the controlling factor in the selection of a contractor for this solicitation. The degree of importance of cost as a factor could become greater depending upon the quality of the proposals for other factors evaluated. The following factors will be used for evaluation of each proposal: Past Performance, Experience and Price. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation will be available on this web site on or about August 5, 2003. Telephone requests are discouraged.
