- Description
- This project consists of the reconstruction and expansion of an existing 10-car capacity parking area into a 30-car capacity parking area. Work includes site grading, gravel surfacing, some obliteration of existing roadway, placement of 937 tons of hot asphalt paving mix, striping; installation of wheel stops, signs(furnished by Government), and a gate; and the demolition and reconstruction of an existing railroad-tie retaining wall. Price range is $100,000 to $250,000. NAICS code is 237310 with a small business size standard of $28.5 million; competition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Contract will be awarded on an all-or-nothing basis to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Contract time is 60 days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. Solicitations will be posted to FedBizOpps on or around July 28, 2003. Opening Date of Bids is expected to be August 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m., Cherokee National Forest Supervisor's Office, 2800 N. Ocoee Street; Cleveland, TN 37312.
