- Description
- Confocal microscpe system shall have the following characteristics: Electronically tunable beam splitter; up to 8 simultaneous laser excitation wavelengths, in any combination, while transmitting all fluorescence; allows 457-476-488-496-514-543-594-633nm visible laser wavelength; optimal excitation of multiple dyes such as Texas Red, Alexa 594 and HC Red, meaning lower excitation power while maintaining sample protection and cell viability; transparency improved over traditional beamsplitters improving sensitivity; 4 simultaneous spectral fluorescence detectors; prism-based spectrophometer detection designed w/o filter and freely programmable bandwidth for each detector; single detection pinhole for improved registration of multiple fluorescence images. Other required equipment: Upright microscope, inverted microscope, anti-vibration table for each type microscope, 4 sizes objective lens (10x/0.30, 40x0.83 CS, 40x/1.25-0.75 Oil CS, 63x1.4-0.6 Oil CS), Z-stage for scanning, motorized XY stage, Transmitted Light Detector, Optics for 40x and 63x objectives for upright microscope.
