- To all responsible potential contractors interested in submitting a quote for the Combined synopsis solicitation F61040-03-Q-0005 (request for a Frequency Converter, Rotary). The purpose of this amendment is to respond to additional questions proposed regarding this solicitation. This synopsis solicitation is the only RFQ available. This package will be available on Internet only; there will be no hard copies of the solicitation issued. This Modification is issued for clarification only. We require 1 (one) each Frequency Converter, a Georator Model 85R3J300 or equal. Installation of the converter is not to be considered as part of the quote. The provided standard Warranty should be included and the converter should be able to perform as advertised. In reference to the required unit mounted metering package, the solicitation states the metering package is to mounted to the unit and wired on generator. The deadline for all quotes is NLT 0900 EST on 30 May 2003. The FOB point for the Frequency Converter is New Cumberland, PA. The contractor shall be responsible for all shipping charges to New Cumberland, PA. Exact shipping instructions will be provided upon award, as Government transport will be used from New Cumberland, PA to Lajes Field, Portugal. All other information contained in the combined synopsis solicitation remains unchanged. All proposals and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the submittal, shall be in paper medium.
