Description
This synopsis is for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract for the testing and repair of the Nose Assembly, Radome, applicable to the C-5 Aircraft. Buyer requests that this contract cover a period of five years for order from date of issuance of contract. Maximum contract quantity is 60. Initial contract minimum order is 8 each and maximum order is 15 each. Contract order minimum for each out year is 1 each and the maximum order is 10 each. Item 1: NSN: 1560-01-149-2746UC; NOUN: Nose Assembly, Radome. DELIVERY: IAW Statement of Work, 60 Days ARO. Item 2: Data: IAW DD Form 1423s. The approximate RFP issue date will be 30 May 2003 with the approximate response date of 30 June 2003. RFP will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be acceptable. This is a full and open procurement All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. See WR-ALC CBD Note B below. Note B: All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
