SONYA WHITE, AT 251-690-2535/2536 OR FAX: 251-694-4343. THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVE DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM (OPEN TO EVERYONE ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 237990. Estimated cost range of this project is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents should be available on or about 5 AUG 2003. Mr. Leo J. Hickman is the Cont racting Officer for this project. This work consists of Rental of Hopper Dredge with Attendant Plant and Operators for Maintenance Dredging in navigation channels along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Alabama, and Northwest Florida. The primary work locat ion is intended to be Mobile Harbor, however, work at Pascagoula Harbor, Gulfport Harbor, Pensacola Harbor and Panama City Harbor are also possible. The work will consist of removal and satisfactory disposal of material above -52 feet. Excavated material will be transported and deposited into the Gulf Open Water D/A. Hopper Dredge should have pump discharge of 24 to 33.5 inch diameter with all necessary materials, supplies, labor and transportation. Note: The above general outline of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $17,000,000 for the past three years. 6.
