- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for the construction of a 1,100-square foot new building to house the Tower Simulation System (TSS), office space and a training room. Construction shall include all items to construct the building complete including, but not limited to connection of all water, sewer, power, communication and other utilities, grading and earthwork to construct the building pad, haul of fill material to the building site from a borrow area within two miles of the site, inert material outside the building to the extent of the hardscape removed to build the building, including the sidewalk decomposed granite, and all other incidental items to provide a finished building per the plans. Construction options will include construction of an adjacent parking lot, installation of inert material and a full landscape package. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This requirement will be soliciting citing full and open competition under the requirements of FAR Subpart 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (NAICS 23332). All contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration www.ccr.gov prior to award of this contract. This solicitation will be issued via an Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 24 July 2003. This project will be advertised as full and open posted on www.eps.gov Electronic Posting System. A firm fixed-price contract will be issued.
