Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for this procurement is F09607-03-Q-0045 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13, Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 and Air Force Circular (AFAC) 2003-0501. For information purposes the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7373. The North American Industry Classification System is 541512. The BID SCHEDULE shall be for Network Equipment and consist of one (1) Contract Line Item (CLIN). The following CLIN Item is: Handheld Cordless Signal Light Gun, Model 901, includes Model 951 C Charger, auxiliary charger/conditioner and two batteries. Brand Name or Equal. Specifications: Visibility Range - up to 6.6 km (3.6nm) under clear daytime conditions. Light Colors ? Red, green and white (standard aviation signaling colors Light Intensity ? 200,000 candelas at light beam center Weight ? 1.95 kg (4.3lb) including battery 1.35 kg (3.0 lb.) using the auxiliary power cable (battery removed) Light Control ? Intermittent or continuous operation activated by color-coded, back-lit push buttons Power ? 13.2V, 1.8A, Ni-Cad rechargeable battery or 14V, dc-10A adapter and external power supply Lamp ? 15V, 150W Light Gun Charger Model 951C Specifications: Power 90-130Vac, 180-260V ac, 50/60 Hz (auto-select) Size 30x15x25cm (11.5x6x10 in.) w/h/d/ Weight: 7.25 kg (16.lb.) Charging Time Approximately 1 hour Operation ? Main and auxiliary charger: automatic charge and charge maintenance modes. Auxiliary charger: user ?selected microprocessor-controlled discharge, analyse and condition modes Status- Main charger: red/green LED Indication ? Auxilary charger: multi-function LCD Design and construction should meet US Federal Aviation Administration FAA-E-2214a specifications. The manufacturer for all of the above is ATI Avionics Inc. Offerors must provide a ?detailed description? of all reconditioned/remanufactured product parts included in the offer; utilization of reconditioned/remanufacture parts must be identified at the time of quote. All refurbished equipment must be covered by a CISCO authorized refurbished equipment program. FOB Point: Destination. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Request for Quotation (RFQ) should be submitted and shall contain the following information: RFQ NUMBER; TIME SPECIFIED FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS; NAME, ADDRESS; TELEPHONE NUMBER OF OFFEROR; TERMS OF THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY; PRICE, ANY DISCOUNT TERMS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ALL SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS (if applicable). Quote shall also contain all other documentation specified herein. Signed quotes must indicate quantity, unit price and total amount for each item. Offerors shall include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions and provisions included in the solicitation. PERIOD OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERORS: The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation. LATE OFFERS: Request for Quotations or modification of quotes received at the address specified for the receipt of offers after the exact time specified for receipt of offers WILL NOT BE considered. EVALUATION/AWARD: IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a purchase order resulting from this request for quotation to the lowest priced offer. This acquisition is unrestricted. All offerors MUST BE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTERED (CCR). Offerors that fail to furnish the required representation information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation, may be excluded from consideration.
