- Description
- The VA North Texas Health Care System, Dallas, has a requirement to procure an enterprise license and annual maintenance for a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (RxCOTS)Pharmacy system for the Department of Defense (DoD). While the focus of this procurement is to acquire an RxCOTS enterprise license and maintenance for the DoD, this procurement may provide individual options to bring on board the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and United States Coast Guard (USCG)to procure a similar independent RxCOTS enterprise license and annual maintenance for each of those respective organizations. The Composite Health Care Sytem (CHCS) provides pharmacy capabilities for the DoD and is currently being replaced by CHCS II. The RxCOTS product must integrate with CHCS II and meet CHCS II architectural and system requirements for both the Medical Treatment Facilities and CHCS II Theater environments. Finally, the RxCOTS product msut be able to provide capabilities and functionality that may be unique to DoD. Solicitation RFP 549-70-03 will be issued in FAR Part 15 format. Issue date will be on or about 25 Jul 03 and due date for receipt of price and technical proposals will be 29 Aug 03.
