- Description
- The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, 30904-6285,VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Precyse Solution, HIM Services Group, 8005 S. Chester Street, #350, Englewood, CO 80012, for training of the new FY 04 updates and changes in the coding rules, regulations, and guidelines for the Veterans Administration to begin prior to September 30, 2003 and conclude by November 1, 2003. FAR 6.302 authorizes sole source procedure. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 611430 with a size standard of $6.0 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 24, 2003. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax to 478-274-5583. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requests for hardcopy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and faxed to the Contracting Officer. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL addresses. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
