- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Marketing Service, Cotton Program intends to procure the following: Pickup of Cotton Samples from Gins and Warehouses at points shown in the specifications and the Delivery of Sacks to the U.S.D.A. AMS, Cotton Program, Florence Classing Office at 1725 Range Way , Florence SC 29501. For specifications and/or Questions concerning the routes or the bidding process, equipment required, or insurance requirements please call Mark Hudson @ 843-667-4381 *** SOUTHERN ROUTE with 34 Pickups. Estimated 11,000 ? 13,000 sacks. Sample pickup should begin around the week of October 01, 2003. *** This is a 100% small Business Set Aside using NAICS 484220 with a size standard of $21.5 Million. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE BEFORE CLOSE OF BUSINESS August 21, 2003. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12.
