- This Modification is hereby issued to change the issue date to 28 July 2003. The closing date has been also hereby changed to 27 August 2003. Please see the following: Requirements remains the same. Solicitation Number SP0450-03-R-4225, YPG03126000700, NSN 6830-00-555-8837, Extinguisher Assembly, Fire, Vaporizing-Liquid Unit quantity of gas per fire extinguisher equals 2 LB 11 OZ to 2 LB 14 OZ. This requirement is FAT-Contractor. Testing shall be IAW Mil-HDBK-831, dated 23 Apr 99. First Article testing shall be conducted on three (3) cylinders. Product shall be furnished as GFM IAW NSN 6830-01-392-5017. Empty cylinders shall be returned under NSN 8120-01-356-5961. Origin inspection required. This NSN is procured in accordance with Mil-Spec Mil-E=52031D(ME), QAP-254 applies. This is an Unrestricted Solicitation and will result in Firm Fixed Price, Definite Quantity Contract for 5,000 CY. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issue on 28 July 2003 with a closing date of 28 August 2003.
