- Modification No. 2 to the pre-solicitation notice is hereby issued to extend the issue date of the Solicitation on the market, the Pre-Proposal conference and the Closing date. The issue date has been extended from February 28, 2003 to March 14,2003. The PreProsal conference is also extended from March 20, 2003 to March 28, 2003. The new bid closing date will be on April 14, 2003. As a reminder about the issuance of the Solicitation on Buzzsaw. The Solicitation notice and amendments to the solicitation will be available for downloading on GSA FedBizOpps.gov. The solicitation incorporates documents which are not available electronically on the Government Port of Entry (GPE). Interested parties should send all requests for the solicitation to the attention of Roxanne Gill, Contracting Officer or Joseph Gnas, Contract Specialist, at the e-mail addresses shown in this notice below. contractors are requested to provide a street address, telephone number, business license or other documentation granted by the state or local jurisdiction to conduct business, valid DUNS number, valid IRS Tax ID number and e-mail address. Contractors are also required to sign a Document Security Notice. All contractors must fill out a Document Security Notice. Once the request for the solicitation has been accepted, one e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address provided. The e-mail will provide instructions for entry into the secured Internet site and access to the solicitation. TELEPHONIC OR FACSIMILE REQUESTS ARE ALSO WELCOME. Fax (212) 264-4808 General Services Administration (GSA) shall issue a Request for Proposal for a negotiated Design/Build Architectural and Engineering (A/E) and construction which required a licensed professional engineer(s) to design and renovate mens and womens restrooms at Jacob K. Javits FB, 26 Federal Plaza, and 1 Federal Plaza, New York, New York. The restroom renovation design and construction work shall require the contractor to provide all labor and material as part of design-build turnkey contract to modernize existing restroom facilities. This negotiated procurement is open to both large and small business concerns. The combined design and construction cost for this project is $5 to 10 Million. A single Firm-Fixed price contract may be awarded for all design and construction. The small business size standard for NAICS code 236220, is $28.5 Mil. The buildings will be fully occupied and will remain in use during the renovations. Anticipated period of performance is 728 Calendar Days. SELECTION PROCESS. This procurement will accomplished using Technically acceptable lowest price concept to select the offeror whose proposal will include both technical and price proposals. The specification is expected to be issued electronically through http://www.folders.buzzsaw.com/gsapbsr2 on or about 2/28/03. Contractors interested in accessing the Specification through buzzsaw will have to register first at http://folders.Buzzsaw.com/GSAPBSR2. There will be PreProposal conference conducted here at 26 Federal Plaza and all prospective offerors are invited to attend. The conference will be held on or about 3/20/03.
