- REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 4,130 rentable square feet yielding a minimum of 3,591 to a maximum of 3,771 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space in Marquette, Michigan. Contiguous (same floor) space is required. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Parking for 20 vehicles must be available either on site or within a two-block radius of the building. LOCATION: The U.S. Government will be evaluating offers from the delineated area within the city limits of Marquette, Michigan. Although it is not required, there is a preference to be located in the central business district (CBD). The delineated area is defined as the following: NORTH: Wright Street; SOUTH: Pioneer Road; EAST: Lake Superior; WEST: Old Marquette Airport. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy by August 1, 2004. LEASE TERM: Term is 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after 5 years.
