- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price purchase order on an other than full and open competitive (sole source) basis, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5, to Guildline Instruments Inc., Lake Mary, FL. The solicitation number is N62306-03-Q-3022. This synopsis identifies a requirement, in accordance with a Statement of Work, for a multi-year contract for factory maintenance,routine calibration and repair of Guildline Instruments models 8410 and 8410A Portable Salinity Analyzer System (PORTASAL). The contractor shall use its own facilities; test, repair, and calibration systems; and materials to accomplish all work. Guildline designed and manufactured the PORTASAL based on their AUTOSAL technology to meet government specifications and requirements for use on NAVOCEANO T-AGS Platforms. The GFE is unique in form, fit, and function. This equipment is utilized to perform precision accuracy as stipulated by ISO metrology standards and the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) specification. The FSC is 7699, Maintenance & Repair of Laboratory Equipment, NAICS 811219 with a Size Standard of $5.0M.
