- Request for Testing and Maintenance of mechanical controls and equipment. Contractor shall perform periodic maintenance on the heating, Air, Ventilation, and Controls (HVAC) system for facilities Building 210/211/220/221 and provide on call non-recurring maintenance, repair and system balancing service for facilities. Work shall include: (1) Initial maintenance, inspection and system status reports on the HVAC system in facilities 211/221, (2)periodic maintenance on the HVAC system in facilities 210/211/220/221, (3) on call non recurring maintenance, repair and system balancing service for facilities 210/211/220/221. Please contract Contracting Officer for Statement Of work. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items). IAW clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors, Conformance to performance specifications (SOW). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)97-26. NAICS Code 238220. Place of performance/FOB Robins AFB, GA. Service shall begin on 01 Aug 2003 through 01 Aug 2004, with the possibility of 4 option years. Convict labor 52.222-21, Prohibition of Sergregated Facilities 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965, As amended 52.222-42, Statement Of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration 52.233-3, Protest after award 5352.237-9001, Contractor Identification Wage Determination 94-2139 Rev.22 dated 05/31/2001 applies to this solicitation. CBD NOTE Hubzone set-aside applies. Request For Quotes may be faxed to Terri Frye at 478 926-3590. Qualifications: Contractors must be a licensed HVAC contractor with 5 or more years experience. Contractor must have mechanical and controls technicial on staff with extensive experience with Johnson Direct Digital Controls, Tritium open protocol controller, LONWORKs control devises, variable frequency drives, variable air volume air handling units, pressure independent air handling units, steam hot water converters and large chilled water system. Contractor shall submit resumes of personnel to be asigned to contract listing experience, licenses, training and other relevant qualifications with their proposal. Contractors shall submit company qualifications along with reference from previous government, private, and Robins AFB HVAC work. Oral Procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-3590 The anticipated award will be 25 July 2003 The purpose of this Amendment is to change the issue response date from: 22 July 03 to 23 July 03 and incorporate a revised Statement Of Work.
