- Description
- The VANTHCS, Dallas, Texas plans to issue a solicitation on or about August 16, 2003 to acquire Ground Ambulatory and Wheelchair Transportation Services for Dallas VA Medical Center, and Fort Worth Out Patient Clinic facilities. The North American Industries Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6.0M. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The period of performance is for a Base Year plus 4 one-year Option years. The prospective contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform ground ambulance service for DAVM and FWOPC and facilities within a 500-mile radius. The Government will not distribute any hard copy solicitation or amendment documents. The solicitation will be posted at: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic, which is linked to FedBizOpps at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, and is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror_s inability to access the documents posted on the web sites referenced. Because this is a web posted solicitation, the Government will not maintain a Solicitation Mailing List. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the referenced website early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that any amendment has been issued. Telephonic and telefaxed requests will not be accepted. This solicitation will be issued using commercial practices in accordance with FAR Part 12. See Note 1.
