- Description
- Construct two dikes, borrow area, and two water control structures at the Irma Stevenson WRP Wetland Restoration Site in Allendale County, South Carolina. Major items of work include: 5,800 (est.) cu yds of compacted earthfill; 10 ft with 3:1 (H:V) side slopes; 2 double channel 24 in flashboard risers with 15 in barrel pipe structures; stockpile and spread 640 cu yds topsoil; 4.6 (est.) acres smoothing, seeding and mulching. Estimated length of dike one is 1858 ft, and 230 ft for dike two. The estimated price is within the range of $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will not be restricted to any group or business size. The NAICS code is 234990. The solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about August 1, 2003. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Thursday, August 7, 2003. The site showing will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Allendale Field Office, 398 Barnwell Highway, Room 113, Allendale, South Carolina. For directions to that location call (803) 584-4233, Ext. 3. After a brief meeting concerning the bidding process and contract requirements, the group will leave for a tour of the work areas.
