- Description
- The project is located on the Monticello District of the Manti-LaSal National Forest and consists of delivery and windrow spread of 4400 tons of aggregate surfacing that meets the Forest Service specification grading F, to the Elk Ridge Road, #50088. The segments receiving aggregate will be staked by the Forest Service and spread lengths will be designated on the ground. The aggrgate will be shaped by Forest Service Crews. The segments will be interspersed over the first 8 miles of road 50088, North of the intersection with South Elks Road #50092. The project can be reached by heading South out of Blanding, UT on US Hwy 191 to State Hwy 95. Proceed aprox 6 miles along State Hwy 95 to the South Elks Road, County road 228 and Forest Road 50092. Proceed North and then West on 228/50092 approx 19.7 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 50088. Proceed North on 50088 0.4 miles to the start of the project. The solicitation will be avaliable on FedBiz on August 04, 2003.
