- Description
- Lion & Verde Thinning & Piling. The Forest Service has a need for pre-commercial thinning and piling on the Tonto National Forest, Payson Ranger District. The Lion thinning is located by traveling from Payson on Highway 260 approximately 11 to 16 miles and accessing the units on forest roads 405 and 289. The Verde thinning is located by traveling from Payson on Highway 87 north to forest road 199 to forest road 64 and accessing the units via two track roads and forest road 32. The Lion thinning is approximately 784 acres and the Verde thinning is approximately 1090 acres. The project shall be completed in accordance with the specifications and provisions contained in the solicitation and any resultant contract. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be available on or about August 5, 2003 with responses due about September 4, 2003. NAICS code is 115310. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
