- RFP WAS PREVIOUSLY ISSUED UNDER SOLICITATION #SP0100-03-R-0106. PLEASE NOTE THAT PATTERN DATE HAS BEEN UPDATED FROM 10 MAR 1977 TO 28 MAY 2003. ALL OTHER INFORMATION IS STILL VALID, AND IS REPEATED BELOW FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE: RFP IS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF 50,720 EA. MINIMUM/72,000 EA. MAXIMUM, UNDERSHIRT, ARAMID, NSN: 8415-00-485-6547(S), IAW MILITARY SPECIFICATION MIL-D-85040B DATED 20 MAY 1989, AND AMENDMENT NO. 1 DATED 18 SEP 1991. EIGHT (8) DELIVERIES TO NEW CUMBERLAND, PA AND SAN JOAQUIN, CA,COMMENCING 120 DAYS AFTER DATE OF AWARD ARE REQUIRED. ACQUISITION INCLUDES TWO (2) 100% TERM OPTIONS. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. BEST VALUE/SOURCE SELECTION PROCEDURES WILL BE UTILIZED WITH THE FOLLOWING EVALUATION FACTORS: PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION MODELS; EXPERIENCE/PAST PERFORMANCE; SURGE CAPACITY; SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAM SUPPORT, DLA MENTORING PLAN AND JWOD PROGRAM SUPPORT. PRIOR PROCUREMENT HISTORY IS AS FOLLOWS: J.E. MORGAN KNITTING MILLS, INC., 8 DEC 2000, 37,120 EA. @ $20.30. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
