- Description
- The project involves construction of a 8,019 net square foot post office facility, in accordance with USPS approved plans and specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping, and irrigation. Work also includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, masonry and wood structure, wood or steel stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceiling, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, sectional overhead doors, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, fire protection and detection systems, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning. The estimated cost of the project is between $900,000 and $1,400,000 with construction completion within 300 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Award will be based on price and evaluation factors that include past performance, experience, resources, and project management, as outlined in the solicitation package. The contractor must be licensed for this type of work in the state where the work is to be performed. The subcontracting goals for this project are a minimum of 3% for minority-owned businesses, a minimum of 5% for woman-owned businesses, and a minimum of 40% for small business enterprises. Participation with woman-owned businesses and minority-owned businesses is encouraged.
