- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, CA intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery type contract to continue providing uninterrupted telecommunications service at Naval Air Station Fallon, NV by engineering, furnishing, installing, testing, operating and maintaining necessary digital switching equipment, system software, network interconnections, base distribution cable plant (fiber and copper) features, voice mail systems components, digital services and equipment, microwave links, 911 services, data circuits and channels, back-up power, and system capacity. The services provided under the resulting contract will be interconnected with the Defense Switched Network (DSN) and Federal Telecommunications System 2001 (FTS2001) network and must meet Government requirements for National Security and Emergency Preparedness (NSEP), and must p rovide migration to an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). The current Base Telephone System (BTS) is owned by Churchill County Communications (CCC). The proposed contract is for a base one-year period of performance from 01 Oct 03 thru 30 Sep 04, with two one-year option periods of performance. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies to all solicitations issued on or after 01 June 1998.
