- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for an Abrasive Blast Booth & Recovery System to include an enclosure, an abrasive reclaim system, an abrasive blast machine, a media storage hopper, a dust collector and various other components listed in the specification for a fully functional system. This turn-key? system will include the preparation of the work site, the assembly, installation and testing of the equipment, and the training of operator and maintenance personnel per specifications attached to the solicitation. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Delivery desired within 120 days after date of contract. The firm fixed price, commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 25 July 2003 with a closing date of 8 August 2003. Per FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date has been reduced to 23 days from this announcement. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to joshua_c_carter@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 25 July 2003. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
