- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for management and engineering technical support for the PMA-265 Electro-Optics/Infrared (EO/IR) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The EO/IR IPT manages a diverse set of sensor system technologies and programs that are utilized on the F/A-18 C/D/E/F aircraft. The workload includes numerous stand-alone projects, each requiring varying levels of technical support and management attention. Individual projects span the research and development life cycle from concept definition through engineering development, production, and fielding. Expert advice and guidance is required to support systems and integration engineering, technical analyses, test and evaluation, and other technical activities to ensure successful project completion. Management and engineering technical support is required for the Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) and other current existing EO/IR products that are deployed on the F/A-18 C/D/E/F aircraft. It is anticipated that a time and materials GSA FSS order against SIN 871-6 will be awarded. The expected period of performance for this contract will be twelve (12) months from date of award. The RFQ, including SOW, quotation instructions, and selection criteria will be posted to http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/ by 17 July 2003. All proposals received on or before 24 July 2003 will be considered by the Government.
