Description

Installation of conduits and fiber optic lines connecting most of the buildings on site. The work includes trenching, bedding material, and installation as per plans and specificiations. Estimated cost range: $25,000-$100,000. NAICS Code: 235310. This is a "full and open" competiion award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. An award selection will be based on "best value" with price and other critical factors considered. Request for Quotation (RFQ) with attachments will be posted on the website http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 31, 2003. No hard copies of the RFQ and attachments will be mailed or issued. As of October 1, 2001, the National Park Service requires the use of electronic commerce to view, quote, and award projects over $25,000. A site visit will be conducted at Fort Scott National Historic Site on August 7, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is highly recommended and will be one of the critical factors for award selection. If you can not attend on this date please contact Jack Messer at 620-223-0310 at Fort Scott to make arrangements for a site visit.
