- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36; Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for renovations to quarters one (1) and sixty-eight (68) at Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge, located in McBee, SC, in accordance with USFWS specifications and drawings. The proposed contract is not a small business set-a-side in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Size Standard is $28.0 million. The NAICS code is 233320. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. IFB tentatively scheduled issue date is 07/28/03. IFB tentatively scheduled closing date is 08/28/03. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued, with a performance period of 150 days. Anticipated award date will be on or about 09/12/03. It is anticipated the IFB will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov . Paper copies of solicitation will not be available. However, seal-bidding procedure still apply for submitting bid. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. It is anticipated the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation and attachments posted: Microsoft Word (.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf).
