- NA NSN: 1015-01-294-3346 (PN 12576966, Safety Mechanism Assy); NSN 5340 01 285 7451 (PN 12900957, Bow Handle Assembly). The 2 items being procured on this solicitation are for use on the 120mm Mortar. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Re quirements are 260 ea Safety Mechanism Assembly and 273 ea Bow Handle Assembly Part Number 12576966, Safety mechanism Assembly, is manufactured from 8 different machined items. Knob rotates on 8 MM diameter shaft with link and spring, overall length is 72 MM long. Part number 12900957, Bow Handle Assembl y has machined parts from .13-34C Plain Carbon Steel, welded assembled and engraved. Approximate size is 4.4 MM X 1.44 MM X .76 MM. FOB is Destination. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY 03 requirement. Estimated issue date is 31 Jul 2003 This proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 is required. This solicitation includes TDP that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal are instruct ed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Addrss, City, State, Zip Code, Te lephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors w ishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments the reto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendmen ts which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
