- NA This is a sole source combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accourdance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. It is the Government's intent to make a sole source awa rd to FATS Inc. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a Justification for other than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation numbe r is DAHA17-03-R-0005. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the FAR Circular 97-11. The standard industrial classification code (SIC)is 3699 and the small business size is 750. The Maine Arm y National Guard is seeking to procure the following: A FATS Upgrade of three machines, a three projectors and 23 weapons upgrade. The provision at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commerical items is applicable to this acquistion. Interested part ies may submit pricing data and a description of the upgrade to the FATS machine via fax at 207-626-4533 by close of business, August 1, 2003 to the attention of Mrs. Darlene Howes. A determination not to complete the proposed commerical item based on resp onses to this notice is solely within the Government's discretion. If no affirmative responses are received by close of business, August 1, 2003, The Maine Army National Guard will proceed with the acquisition to FATS Inc.
