- NA The NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Raven Rock, PA. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified b y the states of Pennsylvania and Maryland, shall provide local commercial communications service for Raven Rock Mountain Complex, PA, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks , local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether th ey are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees ?????? NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 16 July 03. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 6 August 2003 at room 3N45, Raven Rock Mountain Complex, Pennsylvania. It is strongly recommended that prospective offererors attend this conference. The conference will be from 1:00-2:20 PM (approximately) an d will be followed by a site visit from 2:30 ?????? 3:30 PM. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees?????? names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 24 July 2003. Security infor mation and directions will be provided at that time. An e-mail response to the specialist listed below is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 1 August 03. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference mu st be received by 14 August 03.
