- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation reference number is F2012931810400 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. In accordance with FAR subpart 19.2, it is the policy of the Government to provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisition for small business concerns. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5, this acquisition has been exclusively set-aside for participation by small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 33211. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ has one line item: 0001 Forklift Ramp. Salient characteristics for the forklift ramp are: Capacity: 30,000 lbs; Ramp Length: 40 feet; Deck Length: 15 feet; Width: 95 inches; Deck Height: 42?-58? adjustable (hydraulic); Safety rails: 8 inches; Bar Grate: Open serrated steel grate decking (primed and painted); Color: Earth tone, green/brown. Deliver to Bldg 805, McChord Air Force Base, WA 98438. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers and will be rated of equal importance: (1) Technical capability offered to meet the Government requirement. (2) Price.
