- ORGINIAL SYNOPSIS POSTED 01 JULY 2003 UNDER F31601-03-R-0019. THIS IS A RE-POSTING FOR ADMIN PURPOSES ONLY UNDER F31601-03-R-0020. ALL ELSE REMAINS UNCHANGED. Project# TMKH04-4001, CN04, Whole House Renovation-Hillcrest Housing Area Phase 4, Pope Air Force Base, NC 28308. Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to complete the renovation of 44 housing units at the Hillcrest Housing area, Pope AFB, North Carolina. This project involves the removal of asbestos-containing materials, and the installation of brick screen walls, installation of metal soffits, removal and replacement of existing exterior and interior doors and frames, removal and replacement of bathroom and kitchen cabinets, installation of new sheet vinyl flooring and vinyl composition tile, installation of miscellaneous framing and drywall work, painting, removal and replacement of plumbing fixtures, installation of new sprinkler heads, removal and replacement of light fixtures, and the installation of new carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. This action is set-aside 100% for HUBZone small business concerns. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236115 with a small business size standard of $28,500,000.00. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past Performance is significantly more important than price. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 15 July 2003 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from DUN and Bradstreet. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
