- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: CLIN 001-1 each Koch UV2100MIL OR EQUAL Vacuum Aided Mobility Bag Packing System (V.A.M.P.S.); CLIN 002-4 package Koch 910000 OR EQUAL, V.A.M.P.S. bags, 25" x 42", outer wrap for sleeping bags and mobility bags. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F32605-03-Q-0060. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. North American Industrial Classification Standard 333993 with 500 personnel applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to 319 LRS/LGRRW, 400 Eielson Street, Building 408, Grand Forks AFB, ND 58205. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site. Web address is http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated on price and delivery related factors. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995), apply to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of these provisions with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225- 7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program; DFARS 252.225-7002, Qualifying Country Sources as Subcontractors. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
