Description
The Agency Of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration(SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services(CMHS) through the Division of Acquisition Management(DAM), Program Support Center(PSC), plans to award a 4 month contract using simplified acquisition procedures to the Carter Center Mental Health Program, One Copenhill, Atlanta, GA 30307 The anticipated date of award is August 11, 2003. The primary objective of this project is to develop a well-organized and attractive report on the findings of the November, 2002 Carter Center Symposium on meeting the mental health needs of the country in the wake of September 11, 2001. The Contractor shall produce a work plan including an outline for the report and recommendations for dissemination by the contractor. Development of First Draft of Report After Project Officer approval of work plan and outline, the Contractor shall draft a report in the standard format. The Project Officer will have up to two weeks to review and provide comments. Final Draft of Report Deliverables: 1. Submission of draft work plan - Award plus 4 weeks 2. Submission of first draft report - Award plus 6 weeks 3. Submission of final draft report including up to 500 copies for distribution. - Award plus 12 weeks The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Under authority of Far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation is available.
