- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Security Affairs (SO-21) intends to award a sole source contract to Wasatch Electric Services, of Salt Lake City, UT, for maintenance & support of the DOE HQ Public Address System in its Washington DC metropolitan area facilitie. The system manufacturer is Valcom, which has full proprietary rights, and Wasatch Electric Services is the only source of maintenance support in the Washington DC metropolitan area authorized by Valcom to support its systems. The proposed contract will be Firm Fixed Price for a maximum period of three years, with a base year and two one-year option periods. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 10 calendar days of the publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
