Description

The National Severe Storms Lab (NSSL)located in Norman, OK requires janitorial services as specified in the bid package for the period October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, cleaning materials, equipment and supervision to perform the work specified in the Statement of Work. Local supervision is mandatory. The total work area is approximately 43,305 sq. ft. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Interested sources may request a copy of the RFQ either by written, faxed or e-mailed requests. Anticipated release date of the bid package is August 12, 2003 with an anticipated receipt of quotation date of August 30, 2003. The award decision will be based upon the best value to the Government, with past performance being more important than price. Criteria for evaluation of quotes is: 1) Past Performance; 2) Resource Management(Supervisor's ability to provide on-site supervision to insure quality of service and friendliness of personnel); 3. Areas of Responsibility, i.e. Ability to provide janitorial services in a timely and courteous manner, responsiveness in correcting problem areas and ability to provide backup personnel in the event of absences; 4) Equipment; and 5) Price. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer by fax or by email. This announcement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 (NTE $100,000).
