- Description
- The project consists of reconstructing the campground loop road, camping spurs and tent pads, the day use area parking lot and campground host site. Also to be constructed is one new campground spur and camp pad, a fee station pad and retaining wall, and an access drive to the swimming beach. The road, spurs and parking lot will have a 3 inch depth hot bituminous plant mix surface. Work also included is sign and gate installation, filling in of low areas in the campground, culvert installation/repair, and removal/repair/salvage of camp site rock masonry and curb, fire rings with concrete pad, picnic tables with concrete pads, and parking lot rock curb masonry. This project is located on the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests, Pleasant Hill Ranger District, Johnson County, Arkansas. The NAICS code is 237210 and the size standard is $28.5 Million. The contract time for this project is 160 calendar days. This project is open to large and small businesses. A 20% bid bond guarantee is required. Successful contractor will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price prior to beginning work. The estimated range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The date for a site visit will be listed in Section L of the Solicitation package. This is an Invitation for Bids(Sealed Bid)and will be available for download from this site on or about July 18, 2003.
