Description

MODIFICATION: THIS NOTICE IS BEING MODIFIED TO WITHDRAW THE REQUIREMENT FOR 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. THIS PROCUREMENT IS FULL AND OPEN. THE RESPONSE DATE remains 08/21/03. The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a requirement for all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and other necessary work for Installation of UPS System for the Computer Room. The work is located at the National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research, Peoria, IL. General work includes installation of a new 30KVA Uninterruptible Power Source for a computer area. Incidental work includes a new panel board, new disconnects, new conduit, receptacles and wiring and miscellaneous demolition work. The estimated cost of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. A Payment Bond shall be required. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business. All responsible and qualified sources may submit a bid that will be considered by the agency. A pre-bid site visit will be scheduled and information provided in the solicitation package. This will be the only opportunity to visit the job site prior to submission of bid.
