- Description
- This solicitation is for the establishment of a corporate contract for spare parts related to General Purpose Machinery and Equipment, that are in accordance with military specifications and or drawings and code and part number items that have been historically procured from Kaydon Corporation whether or not the NSNs are ultimately procured from Kaydon Corp., again. The solicitation which includes the NSNs, item description, part numbers, Annual Demand Quantity, and delivery schedule are available for download under the "Acquisition download" menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board System(DIBBS)under the heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations" access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/RFP/. Access is also available via the World Wide Web at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contract/cc.asp. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. For information only you may contact the primary POC as indicated. For faxes please send to (614)692-4748. The primary focus for this acquisition is 24 NSNs managed by DSCC. There is a potential to add other center's items at a later date. It will be for a one year Indelfinite Quantity contract and contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government, not eoexceed four additional years. Please do not forget to return the completed Section B information by disk, and the completed RFP to the DSCC bid roon by the closing date. If you do not have a Section B disk, please download this information from the excel file located on the Internet. The acquisition will be evaluated for all or none per NSN. The FSCs to be covered under this solicitation are 2910,2920,2940,4320, 4330 and 4730. All responsible sourc3es may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. See Note(s): 22 and 26. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of 8/1/2003 at the aforementioned web sites. Availability of drawings, It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/RFP/. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07-Avilability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL,MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Applies to NSNs coded AMSC G. Specifications,plans or drawings are not available for all NSNs-Applies to code and part number NSNS only. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class; aforementioned in description. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offer,s the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation, Refer to Section M of the solicitation.
