- REGIONAL CONTRACTS OFFICE USAID/NICARAGUA SUBJECT Amendment No1 Request for Quotations RFQ524-03-005 Request to procure 6 vehicles Managua, Nicaragua The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to address questions received before submission of subject quotations. Please make note of the changes and notify USAID/Nicaragua that you have received this Amendment No 1 to the subject RFQ No additional questions will be answered. Close of business is July 22, 2003 Questions and Answers Question (1) What is the model or make Answer (1) Any model or make is fine as long as it meet the requirements stated in the RFQ Question (2) Is this a setaside contract Answer (2) No this is not a setaside contract. Question (3) If the award is granted when will the contractor receive the payment Answer (3) If the award is granted the contractor will receive 100 percent payment upon USAIDs inspection and acceptance and receipt of original invoice. Question (4) Will the aforementioned solicitation require any armor plating Answer (4) No they do not require armor plating
