Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Provide and deliver 24 each upgrade from Axciton computerized polygraph four channel sensor box to five channel sensor box including motion sensor pad with a three (3) year unconditional parts and labor warranty on the sensor box. Delivery shall be at Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5506. Quotations are due July 30, 2003, POC Ellen B. Harden, Contract Specialist, 703-806-4442, e-mail Ellen_B_Harden@belvoir.army.mil. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Solicitation number DABJ03-03-T-0105 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The NAICS code is 334119 and small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Any supplies and services to be furnished under this requirement shall be executed by the issuance of a purchase order. Payment shall be made by submission of an invoice to the address cited on the SF 1449 in block 18a. This is a one-time fixed price purc hase to be delivered not later than August 25, 2003 with one line item: Item 0001, Upgrade from Axciton computerized polygraph four channel sensor box to five channel censor box including motion sensor pad and a three (3) year unconditional parts and labor warranty on the sensor box (has to be exact due to compatibility). A submitted proposal in response to this requirement shall consist of unit price, extended price, and delivery date. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items ap plies. Provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies with paragraph (a) completed as follows; The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Low Bid and the ability to meet the required delivery time. Technical and past performanc e, when combined, is not applicable. The Government intends to make an awar d to the offeror whose bid has the lowest price and can meet the required delivery time. Sealed offers must be received no later than 2:00 P.M. July 30, 2003.
