- NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following Commercial item one(1) each of OPTICAL SPECTRUM ANALYZER:Optical Spectrum Analyzer Specifications: Wavelength Measurement Range: 350 to 1750 nm Total Measurement Range: -90 to 20 dBm Close-In Dynamic Range: 45dB @ 0.2nm or better Wavelength Resolution: 0.05 to 10 nm Wavelength Accuracy: +0.05nm (1510-1570nm) Level Accuracy: + 0.3dB Input Fiber: Single mode and Multi-mode to 800um diameter core fiber, FC connector Scan Time: 2.5 sec or less Scan Averaging: Multi-scan averaging or Point averaging Measurement Types: Averaged Power, Pulsed Power, Transmission, Scan Trace addition, subtraction, and division. Scan Trace Memory: 32 traces or more. Scan Data File Transfer: 3.5? Floppy Drive or USB Remote Interface: GPIB or USB Remote Trigger: TTL input Power: 120 VAC, <200 Watts Size: Less than 500mm x 500mm x 250mm Weight: Less than 30kg This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 333314 and 500 EMPLYEES. respectively. The anticipated release date of RFQ 03-C24-002 is on or about 7/15/03 with an anticipated QUOTATION DUE DATE ON OR ABOUT C.O.B. 07/29/03 All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
