Description
This is a modification to the synopsis entitled 1 to 5 Speed Increasing Gear (Transmission) PR # 4200017637 which was posted on June = 24, 2003. You are notified that the following changes are made:=20 1. Government requires a transmission housing containing a bevel gear = set with a 1:1 ratio, horizontal input and vertical output shafts, support bearings and lubrication system. 2. The bevel gear transmission will be driven by the output shaft of = an existing transmission: =B7 Bevel Gear Transmission must bolt to an AND 20007 type XVII C, -D, = -E, & F flange =B7 Input shaft of the bevel gear transmission must mate to a 1.764 = inch diameter female spline (26 teeth, 30 degree pressure angle, 16/32 = pitch, 1.626 P.D.) 3. Transmission will be used to drive a hydrostatic bearing test rig = rotor for two hours a day and five days a week. 4. Transmission will see negligible thrust loads. 5. 1:1 ratio bevel gear set. 6. Maximum rotational speed is 18000 RPM. 7. Minimum rotational speed is 4000 RPM. 8. Transmission must handle 300 HP (87.5 ft*lb) at 18000 RPM. 9. Horizontal input and vertical output shafts 10. Transmission must be painted to prevent rust in a room that is not climate controlled 11. Unit must be complete: =B7 Any lubrication pumping, lubrication cooling, and lubrication = reservoir requirements must be provided by the manufacturer and included in the quote =B7 Transmission must be fully assembled and ready for test work upon arrival The due date for responses is extended.
