Description
Pre-Invitation Notice for Minor Modifications to Judge?s Chambers, Third Floor District Court Space, U.S. Courthouse, 101 1st Street SE, Cedar Rapids, IA. Job PCN AIA23395. Invitation For Bid o/a 8/2/2003. Estimated Cost Range: $100,000 to $250,000. Time for completion: 90 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Competency qualification information is required prior to award for asbestos abatement. Abatement insurance for covering this type of work is also required. No document charge or deposit required. The project consists of providing all labor, material and disposal required to modify the third floor chamber space. Work includes but is not limited to, demolition, new partitions, acoustical ceiling, removing and reinstalling doors/frames, hardware; architectural woodwork, manufactured casework, new lighting, new finishes, painting and associated electrical and mechanical work. Options: Option 1 consists of providing and installing frames with glazing at Offices 301 D, E and F; Option 2 consists of providing and installing sink along with associated plumbing and electrical systems; Option 3 consists of recessing existing receptacles and data/phone outlets, including cutting and patching of existing walls and ceilings. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. There is a 10% price evaluation factor for Hub Zone Small Business and a 10% Price Evaluation Adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns.
