- NAICS Code: 611699 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Air and Radiation (OAR)and intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order to American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS) of Washington, D.C. using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain expert services to plan and implement a strategy for expanding the reach of the Sun Wise program to 30-45 science museums. This acquisition shall be Phase II of a three Phase strategy and will consist of conducting three regional workshops throughout the country. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 611699, the size standard is six million dollars. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solict and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this posting must be in writing.
