- Description
- In accord with FAR 6.302-1, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to solicit Anderson Metal Industries (AMI), 1385 Pittsburgh Rd, Franklin, PA 16323, on a sole source basis, for delivery of the following chem-bio-radiological filter system items: (1) Total quantity six-each of filter change-out kits in accord with NAVSEA Drawing 6264251-Rev F and (2) Total quantity eight-each of pressure control valves in accord with NAVSEA Drawing 6253472-Rev E. Standard commercial warranty to convey for all deliverable items. Two separate deliveries are required. First delivery is for a quantity of two-each of item (1) and a quantity of three-each of item (2), FOB Destination to San Diego CA, is required by 24 September 2003. A second delivery of quantity four-each of item (1) and a quantity of five-each of item (2), FOB Destination to San Diego CA, is requir ed by 1 June 2004. Simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR 13, and procedures for acquisition of commercial items, in accordance with FAR Part 12, will be used. Estimated award date is 1August 2003. Closing date is 7 days after publication of synopsis. The Government will consider statements from all responsible sources which evidence capability to provide the required items within the required delivery schedule via email to XDS13@nswc.navy.mil. Capability statements which do not evidence existence of special tooling and quality controls reasonably necessary for quality product and delivery within the required schedule, and evidence of outstanding past performance to the U. S. Navy for contracted delivery of the items specified herein, will not be considered. This synopsis, and applicable amendments, will be available on the World Wide Web at http://w ww.nswc.navy.mil/supply/busop.htm. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD website to ensure they have downloaded any and all amendments. NUMBERED NOTE 22 APPLIES.
